An interactive map showing the height of Monroe County, Indiana's tree canopy at 1 m resolution, using data from an incredible project by the World Resources Institute and Meta that uses satellite photos and an algorithm to estimate the canopy height of the entire planet at high resolution. The tree canopy data is a large file, so please give it a second or two to load, or refresh your page.

Toggle the layers on an off using the panel at the top right. Click on each hexagon to get the average canopy height for that hexagon, and the maximum canopy height measured for the same area. See my similar map of DC's canopy here.
